Great experience! No self-check in available but the desk was fast and friendly. Absolutely loved breakfast. It was crowded, but very good with lots of options. We stayed in 607, which faced the courtyard, so it was quiet. Friday night you could hear muffled bass from a club, but nothing to keep you awake. The room had a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was horrible, super lumpy and a thin mattress, but my kid insisted on sleeping there anyway. She slept fine, but an adult would hate it. The double bed was fine. The hotel was very clean and welcoming. You can’t beat this location. Would stay again for sure.

This hotel is in a great location. The service is excellent and the breakfast ample and delicious. Our room was very small -- there was barely room on the floor for a second suitcase. The bed was comfortable, and the place was clean and had a fun vibe. The reception doubles as a bar, and there is a courtyard with a restaurant, so it feels lively.

Location, hotel staff, breakfast , all are important reason to stay. a few yards to the grand central station, and the royal palace is a walking distance

We were greeted by a very fiendly and helpful girl at reception - when we got to our allocated room it looked like the beds had just been vacated so we returned to reception and were given an upgraded room with an apology and smile. The location of the hotel is great - about 5 min walk from train station. Breakfast was really good with great choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and what really impressed us was that we had a sauna booked in the harbour area and needed a towel to sit on and another for changing which the girl at reception provided when we asked about buying them. The staff provided helpful advise to all our queries - they deserve 10 out of ten for service.

Modern, affordable and central

I was in Oslo for work and not knowing the city, tried to find something reasonably central. I liked that this hotel is modern, no-frills, and walking distance from all the important things - a train that gets you to the airport quickly, shopping, food, and the harbour. I returned on a second trip later in the year and it was every bit as comfy and affordable. Great little spot!
