Clarion Hotel® The Hub

Nobody cleaned up the room. When we came back to the hotel at 6p.m. we asked twice for this service and, at the end, we had to ask to the manager to come to see by himself because he had the confirmation that the room was ok.....we went out for dinner and when we came back we found ok only the bed . See the pictures in attachment. Pillows on the floor, an empty bottle of water, chips envelope and many other thing. Horrible

We stayed here for two nights. The checkin was busy but efficient. Rooms were adequate but not massive, we paid for a city view which was worth it. The most outstanding feature was the breakfast experience. It is probably the best selection we have ever encountered over the past 20 years. There was so much to choose from, replenished regularly, great quality, and hot. Hotel was very clean, staff courteous and helpful. We can recommend the Oslo Street Food Court to eat, there’s loads of oriental choices. The hotel is two minutes walk to the train station, and very central. Can thoroughly recommend this excellent hotel

Stayed 3 nights with a friend while visiting Oslo. Personally, I had a mixed experience at the hotel, which I'll outline below. Pros: - Centrally located to train station, bus station and transport to major Oslo attractions - Good WiFi in the rooms - Expansive breakfast and good seating (but can be crazy so be ready) - Remodeled rooms and good size bathrooms and shower pressure Cons: - It really comes down to what room you get. We originally were in a new room, which was huge for two people, had seating, and a giant bathroom. We then had to move (for various reasons) and the twin room we were put in was a closet and in an older part of the hotel. For how much this hotel costs, I didn't want to sleep in a closet that's on a lower floor (so noisy) and have the room be SUCH a downgrade. Yes, I've stayed in Europe hotels before so I know things are small but the change between room size was noticeable and stark - Front desk can be like a train station of people coming/going so you can do self check-in, but we needed keys to be remade 2 times because of issues. Which means queuing up to talk to someone. - Be aware of when you go to breakfast because the waits for the elevators can be multiple minutes. Not much hotel can do about it because it's based on volume but be aware. Overall, IDK if I would stay again. The location was great, but it would really depend on what room I get since that really makes/breaks the experience.

We had very good experience in Norda bar. David was the best bartender. We had perfect cocktails and private time. He give to us good recommendations about cocktails. Also it was good music and proffesional service. Thank you so much! Giedre and Tomas

I first stayed here in 2019 and enjoyed it then. I recently had the occasion to be back in Oslo for business and there was no question where I’d be staying. The hotel and the city overall have changed for the better in the last 5 years. This place has everything you need and more for any purpose and length of stay. The lobby bar is definitely a highlight - hopefully you’ll run into David who took great care of us!
